I've seen this one on cgtalk, real eye-candy

One little crit, the pointing finger of the top hand that's left on the picture is too long, it should look shorter than the finger next to it when the hand is like that :)

[+9] for the quality of this piece..... however, there are certain things that I have to point out with respect to Bodhisattva in general.... the figure that you have drawn here is very much done in Vedic Hindu style.... almost like a Hindu Goddess. The position of the hands (and the fact that you have 4 hands here) is almost reminiscent of Vishnu, the God of all Preservation and Protection or Laxmi, the Goddess of Wealth (who also happens to be Vishnu's consort according to Hindu lore)... so is the jewellery. The clothes are very Indian in design.... I just feel that Bodhisattva is an inappropriate title... As for your artistic skills - they speak for themselves! You are, without doubt, VERY talented! (thumbup)

Why is she wearing such revealing clothes? What is the purpose and reason for that? Notice she has 4 arms, that would mean she's deformed - she must have ugly armpits. Those are long ear lobes!
How does she walk with such a tight dress?
Just questions you may not have thought of.
Would be great to see you using a milder art theme that one can show their children!

I LOVE THIS PIECE!
I don't care if some believe you can't show a partially exposed breast to children. It's funny we can show totally exposed breasts to babies while they're feeding but later in life we take that privilege away with some REALLY RIDICULOUS AND ANTIQUE VICTORIANESQUE, STUCK UP, POLE IN THE 'BEHIND', EXTREME, RIGH-WINGED thinking.. cough..zenas. cough.. .pardon me!

I LOVE your work, and your style is particularly IMPRESSIVE... LIVE ON EXPOSED BREASTS if you ask me!

In early Buddhism the term used to refer to the Buddha before he attained supreme enlightenment; more generally, any being destined for enlightenment or intent on enlightenment. The spiritual path of the bodhisattva is the central teaching of Mahayana Buddhism. One becomes a bodhisattva by arousing the "mind of enlightenment," taking a vow to attain supreme enlightenment for the sake of all beings. The bodhisattva does not aspire to leave the round of birth-and-death (samsara) before all beings are saved; he is thus distinguished from the arahant of earlier Buddhism, who allegedly seeks nirvana only for himself and who, according to Mahayana teaching, has an inferior spiritual attainment. The practice of a bodhisattva consists of the six "perfections" or paramitas: charity (dana), morality (sila), forbearance (ksanti), diligence (virya), meditation (dhyana), and wisdom (prajna). Both laymen and monks may be regarded as bodhisattvas. In addition, many celestial bodhisattvas are worshiped along with the Gautama Buddha and the buddhas of other worlds. The most important celestial bodhisattvas are Avalokitesvara, the bodhisattva of compassion; Manjusri, the bodhisattva of wisdom, and Maitreya, who in heaven awaits birth as the next buddha. If I was religeous, Buddisum would be my choice. :)
